We picked up a quick takeaway, and everything was absolutely delicious. It all tasted freshly made, and we had a great meal for just over $40. Well done, Hoolies! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hoolies Inn:
The food is consistently good, but the service has deteriorated significantly in the past few months. They really need more staff in the front of the house to manage the wait time, which has stretched to nearly an hour. It seems like they could also use additional help in the kitchen. Was average in tastiness, but my mate ended up having to hold my hair back and i threw it up everywhere
Excellent Szechuan in Balnarring, with Cantonese “sweet and sour” favorites to satisfy the traditional small-town Chinese connoisseurs!
Maybe someone had a bad experience once at Hoolies but for the record I am I of hundreds of locals who eat at Hoolies on a regular basis and we love it . !!!!
We ordered the sesame prawn, dim sims, fried rice, honey chicken and steak with cashews. Literally everything had zero flavour and on top of that the chicken was cold and soggy. To say that we were extremely disappointed is an understatement considering its a Sunday night and we were both craving some good Chinese food. The only good part of this meal was the prawn crackers which were complimentary. If you are after good tasting Chinese food go elsewhere.
Great value for the food. I walked in to place a takeaway order and found the staff to be friendly. The cooking time was quick. It's a solid local business that deserves support.
