The Fox's Den - Ballymote

Walked from Ballymote to the Caves of Keash and the onto the Fox’s Den. The extra walk was well worth the effort. Wonderful pub with a great hostess. We were also given a personal tour of the traditional Irish cottage that has been constructed alongside. Pat was not just the builder and creator but a font of knowledge and all with humour. One of the highlights of our visit. Nice to meet such a great character who has created such a great attraction.

We went to Foxes Den with a group of children Pat gave them his undivided attention as he brought them on a trip down memory lane and explained about the Caves, the Cottage and the history of the area. Followed by homemade scones and hot chocolate. Trip enjoyed by young and old will definitely be back!

Great spot. Dropped by after a walk at the caves. Tasty food and good service. Even got a tour of the old cottage. Good staff and good value.

We stopped by this restaurant the other day on our way back from a family day out and found it by accident. The staff were very friendly and great with kids. The food, including pizza, chicken goujons, and chips, was very good. The pints were also delicious. The service was quick and it was good value for money. It's a nice, friendly, and warm place to visit. I would highly recommend it.

This restaurant offers good quality food at reasonable prices, with a varied menu and excellent service in a welcoming pub atmosphere. There is ample parking available.
