Georgie, who helped me plan the event for the past few months, went above and beyond to make our day special. We rented out the small room, which was beautifully decorated, and had a intimate ceremony with just 15 guests. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to have a small and charming wedding with a view of the golf course. After the ceremony, we went downstairs to the barn where there was live music and we had a DJ for the rest of the evening. Our friends joined us after the meal and everyone had a wonderful time. The food, venue, and staff received many compliments from our guests. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion.

The menu features some standout starters and a tantalizing selection of mains, particularly from the grill section. However, the uninspired dessert menu was a disappointment for a dessert lover like myself. The sirloin I ordered was cooked to perfection, exactly as I requested, although the accompanying fried mushroom and tomato felt lackluster. The truffle parmesan fries and pepper sauce were delicious sides, and the pour of Guinness was spot-on, despite a slightly dirty glass. Overall, the food and drink were very good, served in a modern and enjoyable atmosphere. The only letdown was the menu design flaws and the slightly higher prices. Fix these issues and I would gladly return for another meal.

Our complimentary meal turned out to be a letdown from start to finish. My chicken wings starter had dead flies in it, and the roast beef main course was tough and chewy, making it inedible. The dessert, a chocolate orange mousse, was overly sweet and lacked flavor. Despite our dissatisfaction, no alternatives were offered apart from a simple apology from a waiter. This experience was a far cry from what we had hoped for, especially considering our previous stomach issues after dining at Galgorm. We expressed our concerns with management through email, but only received another apology in response. It appears that the Galgorm Resort has declined in quality, and we advise avoiding their restaurants if you wish to avoid a similar disappointment. We certainly will not be returning.
