Was Al Smith at Antonio's a mag?
I highly recommend this restaurant! It has a lovely atmosphere, delicious food, excellent wine, and delightful desserts. The espresso was great too, making for a wonderful meal overall. The staff was very attentive and helpful, and it's a family-friendly place. View all feedback.

What GallavantingGuy dislikes about Antonio's:
The restaurant has just reopened after refurbishment. Menu is accessed via an app on your phone which was not an encouraging start. They do however provide i pads for customers sans i phone. Menu was mainly pizzas and pasta dishes with a handful of other dishes. I had Carbonara which whilst tasty had very little bacon or mushroom in it. We only had one course. Returning home from a trip to Cork, tired and hungry. Decided to stop on our way home.. Delighted we did. We had the pasta with crab and the chicken with mushrooms and cream sauce. They were both PERFECT! Needed to ask for more bread to mop up the lovely sauce! House white wine really lovely. Very friendly, chatty staff.. I am afraid we didn't get names, but mother and daughter. Will be back! Food: 5

Ice cream/gelato was really amazing. We had dessert before collecting take out pizza's Wed night and ate them in the sunshine in Ballydehob. Would recommend. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5

The Italian shopkeepers were very friendly. If you're passing by and on your way to Mizen Head, you can stop by for a meal.
