They have a... read more My husband and I visit the Bayleaf approx twice a month. It is table service and the ladies are very efficient. You get good traditional Irish food. They have a regular clientele. Our recommendation is that the chips are a bit less greasy That is personal taste of course.

Fur... read more I would not suggest this café to other visitors in Ballyconnel. I found the staff to be unfriendly when I inquired about their lack of card payment options. Furthermore, the food was overly greasy and I felt like I could have prepared a better meal at home. The coffee was also not up to par. Overall, it was not a pleasant dining experience.

When it comes to payment it is cash only which is quite inconvenient. Don’t get much chat from the staff but they seem like nice people.

A lovely homey little spot in Ballyconnell town. Plenty of options for all dietary needs.
