I ordered the Walleye and opted for chicken gumbo as a substitute side. My wife had the Basa platter, while my mom chose the grilled chicken breast. They use their own special batter blend for the fish, which was delicious. The chicken was incredibly tender—I could cut it with just a fork! My kids enjoyed the chicken strips, and they loved the scoop of ice cream that comes with each kids' meal.

They also have an excellent weekday deal for kids, where meals are just $0.99 with the purchase of an adult meal. This charming local spot is beautifully decorated with a fishing theme, which my 4-year-old excitedly referred to as "Look at all the famous fishermen!" Every visit is a delightful experience.

The customer service was excellent! Our waitress offered me samples of the chicken gumbo and the roasted red pepper and Gouda soup. I decided on the roasted red pepper soup and the shore dinner featuring basa fish. It was absolutely delicious! My taste buds were thrilled! I will definitely be returning!

We got in and it was nice and cool in there! (One of our first stops needs an HVAC visit ASAP! I used to live near here and I hadn't been in at least 14 years? It looks the same and the menu is the same but in a good way! My dinner dates ordered a salad, a Walleye special, and I got the Country Bacon Bleu Burger with Fries. I was hungry and tired and I have to say this was great! I like a charbroiled burger and I love bacon and blue cheese. I requested the fries crispy and that's how I got them. I love the spreadable cheese and crackers they put on the table. The service was great. I'll be back and I promise I won't wait so long!

I ordered the shore dinner, which featured a mild fish with a light, crispy coating, accompanied by a salad and green beans. The salad was fresh and well-prepared, complemented by a delicious house green goddess dressing that was full of flavor. It also came with a small container of cheese and crackers, and the cheese was so tasty that we ended up buying some to take home. My husband had the chicken club, which he rated a solid 4. He enjoyed all the ingredients, the meal was served hot, and everything arrived in a timely manner. Our waitress was friendly but tended to gaze off into the distance when I asked questions. Nevertheless, she was efficient, and the service was overall quite good. I would definitely consider returning if I’m in the area.

I had a steak sandwich with added garlic cheese bread, my to go service was on time and still warm. Very pleased with this dinner. The inside is a nice restaurant, very humble waiting and dinning area with nice decorations throughout. The parking lot is large, has no problems finding a spot close. Looking forward to summer when we can sit on the patio, I read it might be dog friendly even. Thanks for the great meal!

They also provide fantastic kids' specials throughout the week for just $0.99 when you purchase an adult meal. It's a lovely local gem, decorated with a "fishing theme" that my 4-year-old excitedly called "look at all the famous fishermen!" It does get quite crowded during Lent.

Our server Mark was a delight; his cheerful demeanor and outstanding customer service really enhanced our meal. The food was amazing too! We tried a selection of appetizers, including clams, coconut shrimp, fried onions, lobster Rangoon, and ravioli, and each one was absolutely delicious!
