Mighty fine, locally grass fed beef, chicken and pork. Also a source for pasta, local organic produce, jams, cheese, dairy products and veggies. Even some excellent bbq sauces. View all feedback.
What Ben Tashjian doesn't like about Buckley Farm Cafe:
Small portions and expensive. Also one waitress for 6 tables should be adequate, however she literally took 30 minutes to take our order because she was too busy with the 5 other tables... Also their menu online needs to be updated, they no longer have corned beef hash or biscuits and gravy. Lots of flies buzzing around. Eggs were farm fresh though, and the breakfast meats were really good. View all feedback.
Fantastic food and an absolutely stunning environment
Pros: Eggs were cooked well. Cons: Only a handful of tables which were all full. Finally got a table and its just not a nice place to sit. Very small dining area with a totally exposed wood burning furnace for kids to burn themselves on and the bathroom is right in the same room which is awkward. Food wasn't expensive, but they didn't give you a whole heck of a lot either. We all left a little hungry. Drinks are self-serve, which means you have to buy a 5.5 oz can of OJ. It's a laughable amount and it tasted terrible. Nobody in our party thought of any reason to return.
Second year in a row that we got our turkey from this farm. It was the best BY FAR! I can't even explain how incredibly delicious and juicy their birds are. Plus the staff are super friendly and helpful!
Delicious and fresh meats. The butcher can assist with specific requests.
Great experience! Bought our turkey there the last couple of years. Well worth it!
