I had a fantastic meal! I ordered takeout for lunch, and the price was very reasonable, around $10–20 per person. The food was excellent, earning a solid 5 out of 5, and the service was equally impressive, also getting a 5. The atmosphere was nice, rating a 4. I highly recommend trying the cheeseburger! I really enjoy a good burger, but after having the classic burger with cheese, along with fries and a Dr. Pepper, I immediately felt sick. I became nauseated and ultimately ended up throwing up on my way back to San Angelo. I'm not sure what caused it, but I have a strong feeling it was the food, especially since I only eat once a day and it's rare for me to get sick after a meal. If I could give this place zero star... As for parking, there's no dine-in option available. You can place your order ahead of time or at the window and wait in your car for your food. The service is incredibly quick! Since we were passing through town, we just had our lunch in the car and continued on our way!

My husband and I have never written a review before, but this restaurant deserves it. Their hickory burger with onion rings is exceptional—far beyond anything we've ever tasted. It's truly superb! Don’t be fooled by the exterior; trust me, you won’t regret it!
They always mess up our orders. We've ordered from here more than ten times, and they have gotten every meal wrong. We never receive what we ask for. When we request grilled onions, they don’t include them. When we ask for just meat and cheese, it ends up with everything on it and no cheese. The food tastes good, but they just can't get our orders right.
Grumpy Dave's is a must-visit! We absolutely love it! The ice cream and malts are delicious!
The burgers are amazing! They were so delicious that they made up for the overcooked, cold fries. I can't wait for my next visit to Balinger!
During a recent business road trip, I stopped by this restaurant's drive-thru around 11:30 AM on February 26. I decided to try the Monday Special advertised on their window, which included a burger, onion rings, and a drink, all for under $10 after tax! The burger was fantastic, featuring a perfectly seasoned patty, fresh, crunchy vegetables, and a buttery toasted bun. The onion rings were wonderfully crispy on the outside and tender, juicy, and sweet on the inside. This meal was a fantastic value for the price. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and had a great experience!
