On Saturday for the afternoon tea here. Place looks fantastic. The service was great. We had two vegetarians and they made just as much effort with their food as the non-vegetarians. A wedding began at the time we sat and the service was still excellent. They couldn't do enough for us, and they've seen if we need anything. Would definitely recommend. Service: 5 Location: 5. We had afternoon tea on a Saturday. We were put in a corner of a room with another big party of guests. There was a wedding on the same day so i felt like we were been put in a corner out of the way. The food and service were only OK. I felt it was expensive for what we got. I think they need to designate a specific room to afternoon teas. View all feedback.
We recently stayed for a three-day getaway and had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and highly professional. The food was delicious, with a great selection available in the bar and dining room. I also participated in an aqua class at the leisure center, which was the best I've ever attended! The instructor (Carmel, I believe) was excellent. The atmosphere throughout our stay was warm and welcoming. The gardens were beautifully designed, and the scenery along the River Shannon was breathtaking in the late autumn sun. Thank you all for a wonderful three days. We can't wait for our next visit! During our stay, there were two weddings happening, yet we were treated with the same importance as any other guest. From the moment we entered the hotel, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and friendly. We rate this hotel 100 out of 10! I upgraded to a waterfront room, and it felt just like being in the main building—definitely not separate from the hotel. We wholeheartedly recommend The Lakeside Hotel for everyone. From the restaurant staff to the bar team and front desk, everyone treats you as a valued guest. We plan to return so we can enjoy a drink or two while overlooking the Shannon. It's an absolutely amazing place in a gorgeous setting, and we're already planning our visit for 2025. I can't express enough how great this hotel is; I feel like I'm leaving something out. Thank you to everyone at The Lakeside Hotel and Leisure Centre for an unforgettable weekend!
Beautiful hotel. Lovely setting. Staff excellent particularly the lovely smiling gentleman on at breakfast time. Breakfast very good. Bed linen lovely but very mean with toilet paper. Bring some of your own. Service: 5
Stayed here on business for one night. Nice and quiet, staff were super friendly, tentative, and helpful. Breakfast was good quality food, and my room was comfortable, spacious, and most importantly, clean. Great views of the lake and lovely gardens. I can't comment on price as it was prepaid by a company. I would recommend. Service: 5
