This place is fantastic! The children's play area, Kidd Island, is spacious and offers something for kids of all ages. It never seems to be too crowded. The bowling alley is excellent, and the restaurant serves delicious food. The service can be a bit slow at times, likely due to high demand. They also have a new mini-golf course outside, which may be average but adds an extra activity option.

Always rated Gateway leisure centre very highly until tonight. Seven members of my family went for a drink tonight and was told by the restaurant manager what are you doing here if you are not eating? That was some response. Totally forgetting about all the times they ate in that restaurant all through the year. Shocking. They left of course and took their business elsewhere in town which they were welcomed with open arms.

Food was nice, service was excellent. Kids play area could do with a better layout, especially for parents waiting. There's not much to do in Belmullet with kids when it's lashing rain so this spot does the job.
