Choate Bbq - Ball Ground
Choate Bbq
Description
Choate BBQ has garnered a polarized mix of reviews, reflecting a range of culinary encounters. While some patrons rave about the mouthwatering burnt ends and fried pickles, praising the staff's attentive service and inviting atmosphere, others express disappointment over quality control issues, particularly with food freshness and portion sizes. Instances of rancid ranch dressing and mismanaged expectations for family-style meals showcase significant areas for improvement. Although some diners enjoy the flavorful barbecue and generous portions, consistency in quality and value remains a concern. Ultimately, visitors may find a hit-or-miss experience at Choate BBQ.

Great food, great service.. Ribs just fall off the bone, and definitely the best okra I’ve ever had Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Oh best ribs ever! We've tried brisket too... very good! There aren't a whole lot of options as far as sides go. I think they could stand to broaden their menu a bit. As far as service goes... everyone has been friendly but it is not uncommon to run out of drink. I've noticed allot of playing on their phones. You've literally got to flag them down to get anything. Now like I said.. not all of the waitresses just a couple. The prices are a bit high i think but not so high that we won't go back. Over all.... it's a great place to eat. The atmosphere is just kinda dull/ boring but very clean. Went again tonight which is Thursday 1-16 just before closing. Had good service. Didn't feel rushed to get out of there. I'll raise up their stars. I saw no one on their phones tonight and our waitress came back to check on us repeatedly! I still think they could brighten up the place but the next person may absolutely love it.
