Die Gaststätte liegt versteckt hinter einer großen Hecke direkt an der B 27 am Ortseingang von Balingen kommend.Die Einrichtung ist gut bürgerlich und schon in... read more Die Gaststätte liegt versteckt hinter einer großen Hecke direkt an der B 27 am Ortseingang von Balingen kommend.Die Einrichtung ist gut bürgerlich und schon in die Jahre gekommen.Das Personal ist umso freundlicher.Der Salatteller war riesig und einer der Besten weit und breit.Der Zwiebelrostbraten schmeckt so, wie ihn der Schwabe liebt.Allerdings hatte ich nicht das beste Stück Fleisch erwischt - schade.Im Nebenzimmer ging es ziemlich laut zu. Also nichts für einen romantischen Abend.Auf alle Fälle gehen wir wegen dem Essen wieder hin.

The first time I tried to get gravy t... read more Absolutely disgraceful service I 'm stunned! Customer friendliness is obviously not a priority in this village restaurant. The first time I tried to get gravy to take away, I was simply turned away with the terse explanation that they didn 't have anything to transport. No offer of an alternative, no accommodation, just an unfriendly “It’s not possible.” Today I wanted to try it again and brought a special Tupperware container with me. But instead of normal, polite communication, it was made clear to me in an unfriendly and condescending tone that they didn 't need anything to take away because there was enough going on. This way of speaking to guests is absolutely unacceptable! After some hesitation, my can was reluctantly filled and I was asked to pay €10 for 450 ml of sauce. A hefty price for something that didn 't even taste good! This unfriendly, arrogant manner and rip off speak volumes. If you value good service and a decent tone, you should avoid this restaurant. I 'm just disappointed!
