L'atmosphère Restaurant Bar - Balice

Since the Krakow Airport is still under construction, the restaurant at the Hilton Garden Inn is not even on the map. My Polish sour rye soup order was amazingly delicious. Husband's pork ribs and my egg pasta with chorizo both highly recommended!

This restaurant is COMPLETELY overpriced. I ordered a soup for pln 34 (usd$9). It was not even a cup of soup with only two small shrimp. The wine is twice the cost of anywhere else in Europe. An order of french fries barely 20 fries for pln 14 (usd $4). The service was average and quality was average. I will get a taxi and go to another restaurant the next trip.

Great food.. Excellent atmosphere but prices are little bit pricey.. Very clean place, great service staff..

I’ve never been to a polish restaurant and disliked the food as much as I did there. None of the dishes were seasoned. Bland food, menu misleading also. Pasta with mushrooms literally no flavour to it whatsoever. Steak over cooked ordered medium rare and got medium to well. Why would you ask a customer how they would like the steak to be cooked if you cook it however you want it? Sauce for the steak was rats, smelled like a washing up liquid. Apparently served with fondant potato not. Service was good though.

I went there as after a hard working day was quite late and also I was quite tired too. So 5 minutes distance was a great choice as the dinner was excellent and the woman that took care of me was really kind. Very good experience unexpected at the airport area. As I was arriving with car I had also the possibility to park at the entrance of the restaurant free of charge.
