Del Forno Lemon Tree - Balfour

I’ve turned Del Forno into my new work-from-home spot. The atmosphere is impressive and incredibly welcoming. I order tea there every day, and it’s always served just the way I like it. I truly feel at home. The manager frequently came by to ensure I was doing well, and the waitstaff were diligent in keeping my tea warm. Thank you for the outstanding service. Your hospitality and thoughtfulness are truly exceptional.

I've visited this restaurant multiple times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, on July 21, 2022, the manager or supervisor completely overlooked me while attending to every other table and greeting other customers. If that's how this establishment treats its patrons, it's clear they don't value my business.

The owner was unapproachable and did not communicate well with customers. We discovered hair on both our pizza and our peach. When we brought this to his attention, rather than apologizing, he raised his voice and told us not to return if we had a problem. I was genuinely shocked by the way we were treated.

My wife and I had some free time while dropping our daughter off at her youth evening, so we decided to stop by our favorite casual and reasonably-priced restaurant, which we love to support. As always, we were not disappointed. We enjoyed a lovely meal together and cherished some much-needed time for ourselves, as life often gets in the way of such moments. If you're in the area, I highly recommend trying Del Forno Lemon Tree. I’m sure you’ll appreciate the cozy atmosphere, excellent food, and attentive service.

First, there was no bread or dough for the tramazzini, but we were okay with changing our order. However, more than half an hour passed before someone, who wasn’t our waiter, came over. We hadn't seen her since our coffee was served. She informed us that the fryer for the chips was broken and that someone was working on it. Twenty minutes later, we saw someone bringing in frozen chips from somewhere, possibly P&P. Finally, after another ten minutes, we couldn't wait any longer and decided to leave. I believe the restaurant lacks proper management or an attentive manager.
