I had lunch here for the first time today and decided to try the daily special, which was Chicken Fried Steak served with mashed potatoes and fried okra. Unfortunately, the steak was just a low-quality frozen breaded patty with very little actual meat. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a box, and the brown gravy (yes, brown gravy with chicken fried steak) had the flavor of a cheap powder mix. On the bright side, the fried okra was frozen but surprisingly quite tasty, and I enjoyed the grilled onions as well. However, I just couldn’t bring myself to eat the rubbery steak patty, which reminded me of the meat you find in TV dinners. I haven't tried any other dishes, but based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Additionally, on top of the mandatory 18% gratuity for our large group—which was charged before tax—I faced an unexpected 6% fee for using a debit card. This resulted in us paying tax on the gratuity as well! I won't be coming back.

I dined here for lunch today and ordered the daily special: Chicken Fried Steak, accompanied by mashed potatoes and fried okra. Unfortunately, the steak was a low-quality, frozen breaded patty with very little actual meat. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were from an instant mix, and the brown gravy served with the chicken fried steak was obviously made from a powder and lacked flavor. On the bright side, the fried okra was frozen but still enjoyable, and the grilled onions were delicious. I couldn't bring myself to finish the mushy steak patty; it reminded me of the meat found in a TV dinner. I haven’t tried any other dishes, but based on this experience, I’m unlikely to come back.
