They are out business no longer a business yet it's on map. Bad job

This is no longer The Country Inn. This is now Simmer Down. Everything on the menu, I mean EVERYTHING on the menu is good. All the food is cook to perfection. Buffet for lunch order off the menu in the evening. If you haven't been yet, YOU MUST GO!!!! Oops, I forgot to take a pic of the food, but I remembered the decoration. Lol

Awesome place to go eat good service good food nice people

Been going to this Country Inn for almost 20 years, several times a year and enjoyed nearly every visit. Very consistant food. Always ordered the Steak for Two and it is always good (only exception is two times when there was too much fat on the steak). So that is a 30+ to -2 ratio of great steaks. Salad bar is fair for a hometown eatery. Baked potatoes are always soft and tasty. Good service. Always a treat to go. They do have carry-out orders for the steaks and other items, and you can make your own salad when you get there (or they can do that for you). Note they are open only Thur-Sat from 5pm to 9pm.

Good good for a great price. We had the steak for two or more with baked potatoes and fried okra. We had enough steak for the two of us and took home leftover steak for another meal. Great for families who are on a budget. We will go back.
