Great food but service can be a little slow. Worth the wait Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
Our wait was over an hour w/only 2 other tables in there -the food was cold n undercooked and they charged $4 for extra sauce for my dry pasta and $7 for a side of fries that held us over cuz it took forever to get any food. It always take a long time to get your meal so if you go here you’ll need to be patient and not starving ! Our server was very nice tho-Kyle Price per person: $10–20
The food was, unfortunately, terrible, in our opinion. We got a burger, fries, chicken fingers, onion rings, and a wet burrito. The wet burrito was the best of all the bar food if that tells you anything. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
Price per person: $10–20 Recommended dishes: Barski Burger, Burger and Onion Rings, Onion Rings
**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
This restaurant offers a tempting menu featuring Polish specialties and a variety of bar food, including pierogis, burgers, and crab-stuffed mushrooms. While the food quality varies, with standout dishes like the BBQ bacon burger and Polish Plate, service issues have been reported, including long waits and understaffing during busy times. Patrons appreciate the friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff, but many have noted an inconsistent dining experience with cold or undercooked meals. Overall, while the food can be delightful, it's wise to visit with patience on busier days, especially for larger groups.

Where do I begin. Our waitress was great personality wise, but it was obvious she was on some kind of drug. There were 2 other girls behind the bar. one was flirting with some guy, (hopefully not the owner) the other one was eating part of the time and helping our waitress Stephanie the other part of the time. The wait time for drinks, appetizers and food was obsurd. They should have the owners of the Wolf Lake Snack Shack help manager the restaurant. The pictures are incorrect. My patty melt was a half of sandwich with a small patty. The food was lukewarm. The one good thing was the New England Clam dip. It was deliciou, but the tortilla chips were stale. I won't be back nor will I recommend this place.
This place has really declined. At least the service. Not that busy but took 35 minutes after getting drinks to actually order food. Server is bussing tables and taking care of carry out while we're sitting. Apparently carry out is the ticket. Waiting over an hour for food while the carry outs roll. Won't be back for a while.
A little wait to get in is normal, but the food was well worth the wait. The BBQ bacon burger was very good, and the jalapeño poppers were the best I've had from a restaurant. Decent beer selection too. Will definitely stop by again. Better for groups under 5. But there were 7 of us and it worked out, just had to slip between two tables.
You classic bar food in Michigan! Great sandwiches and good drink selection! Loved the atmosphere, a great place to stop on the way to Ludington.

First time here, Got a friendly welcome from the owner. Ordered appetizers first stuffed mushrooms and huge onion Rings Soo good. By the time I got my Reuben I was stuffed. The food was delicious and the waitress and atmosphere was awesome. Definitely come here again!!
This delightful hidden gem near Baldwin is an excellent spot for Polish cuisine and bar food. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the staff was wonderful.
Food was great. Had the seared ahi-tuna appetizer for lunch. Others had the perch and pierogies. Every was happy with their meal. We read about the wait, so anticipation of it allows you to enjoy the food.
This is the best bar food I've ever experienced! If you're in the area, you must stop by! I live three hours away but happened to be in this part of the state twice in two weeks, and I made sure to visit Barski on both occasions. The chicken tenders were phenomenal, and the onion rings were fresh, hand-dipped, and absolutely delicious. The service was a bit slow, but given the current challenges in the industry, the food was worth every moment of the wait! Barski is now a must-visit spot for me every time I'm on the west side of the state!
We are visiting the area on vacation and chose to dine at Barski. Even though we had a big group, everyone truly enjoyed their meals. The waitress was exceptionally friendly and did an outstanding job. I thought the prices were very reasonable, and overall, we were all quite happy with our experience. We are planning to come back later this week, and I definitely recommend giving it a try!

Fantastic food! My group ordered a variety of burgers and appetizers, and we enjoyed everything. The server was very attentive and provided excellent service. We definitely plan to return. We initially came to the area for ATV riding, but we might make the hour-long drive just for the food!

The menu offers a wide selection of uniquely tasty dishes. We sampled the crab-stuffed mushrooms and seared ahi tuna, and we loved dipping warm toasted baguette into our individual pan of roasted garlic. The kitchen truly knows its craft! We were served by a few different waitresses who regularly checked on us, and they were fantastic! We will definitely be coming back!
I had an amazing dining experience at a wonderful bar in North West Michigan. After driving by it numerous times on my trips up north, we finally decided to stop in, and I’m so glad we did. Although they were a bit short-staffed, the service was top-notch. The selection of beers and drinks was impressive, especially for this area. The food was exceptional—some of the best bar food I’ve ever had. Everything appeared to be made from scratch, both in looks and taste. The prices were fair considering the portion sizes and location. I highly recommend this place!
My wife and I met another couple on Saturday. My wife ordered a burger and really enjoyed it. The other couple had one steak and one perch, both of which they liked as well. I was interested in the triple pork dish, but unfortunately, they were out of pulled pork. I decided to try the chili instead, which was fantastic, but the kielbasa was disappointing—it resembled something from a gas station hot dog roller: a bit overcooked and quite small. I’m used to having kielbasa from Polish restaurants near where we live, where it's usually 10 to 12 inches long. Still feeling hungry, I went back to the campsite and made myself a burger and some kapusta.
