We ate here last night (5pm on a Sunday) and while we were the only eat-in diners, the ‘phone was running hot and there was a steady stream of takeaway customers. Its a very small place and it seems like its mainly a takeaway thats squeezed in a half dozen tables. Baldivis suburban restaurant in Stockland shopping precinct. We go every week. ..love the food. Don't plan on having an office party for more than 20 however. Excellent food for a local suburban restaurant. View all feedback.

First time for our party of four to this restaurant and first time to a 'franchise' type Indian restaurant...on entering, what really stood out was the lack of sit in customers although the window advertising repeats 'take away'. Perhaps potential patrons are led to believe it simply is a take away restaurant...Anyway, at least we could sit anywhere and eventually settled on the six seater table, in anticipation of the usual array of assorted dishes we usually order..With the large screen tv on but muted and with no atmospheric Indian music playing the loudest noise was from the kitchen staff, sometimes making conversation between us difficult...The sole waitress appeared at best uninterested although helpful at times. Her attire was more akin to a roller skating rink than a restaurant. However, our selections from the extensive menu all met with favourable comments including the portion sizes which were deceptively large...No other dine in patrons were present during our visit which we found remarkable, given the British ex-pat nature of the local area...The meals really saved this visit to an out of town restaurant for us...I would certainly be tempted by the Monday night special advertised on the rear of the menu although I have to say that our local Indian restaurants offer the same great food but with lots of atmosphere...
Delivery took nearly 2 hours and two phone calls Nan bread burnt, fish over cooked in curry, vegetables had vinaigrette flavour and butter chicken over cooked First and last time for curries from House of Spice Overpriced for bland curries
We saw the fb deal for the curry house. Ordered on line. Mentioned the deal there and they said no you cant use it after you've ordered. How about rewarding ur regular customers and letting them know when they order. Very disappointed. We have a curry here every week and love it. Might check out the new one out instead.

The service was pleasant and the food was great - really tender meats, flavoursome sauces and very little oil. We really enjoyed our meal which included a platter of entrees for 2 between four of us (it was heaps), four curries, rice and naan and 2 desserts (the gulab jamon was light and fluffy) and it averaged $30 each. Great find, I reckon and better food than the other Indian restaurant around the corner.
