Golden Ponds Restaurant - BALDIVIS

We went to the restaurant for lunch with a group of 6. It took quite a while for the service, but it was friendly and the food was good. Fresh, tasty and good portions.

Golden Ponds has a good variety of everything rearly, you can catch your own fish, pay for and take home. I go there regularly to get the fresh muscles they are delicious and well priced. I will be there soon

Fantastic !! Fresh seafood. Great service and clean and nice amenities..would be a great location to camp for the weekend.. so much to do. Fish, relax and eat fresh seafood..

I performed some music there for a private function. The Staff were very friendly, the Function room was excellent,and the food was well presented,a nd good quality

We checked in to a chalet on Saturday 14th January for a 50th birthday we were invited to. We had been looking forward to a lovely over night break. Check in was pleasant. Upon entering our chalet well that's when the pleasant ended for us. The outside of the chalet was full of cobwebs and spiders . There where leaves outside the front door. the outdoor setting was so dirty and full of spiders and cobwebs that it was unusable. For a non smoking chalet, this one sure smelt like the previous guests had chainsmoked with the windows closed because it was smelly. There was so much dirt in the window tracks, the toilet cistern was leaking blue liquid and had ants and small spiders along bottom of toilet. I had to clean shower cubicle with provided scourer and dishwashing liquid before use. Floor was not swept or mopped before our checkin. The actual grounds and lakes are unkempt and grass is dry. Its a shame as it could be a great place with some TLC .The food and service at the 50th function was ok. Overall would not recommend this establishment for accommodation. Its too expensive for something that has not even been bothered to be kept clean.
