Oliver's in Bala has a love-hate relationship with customers. Some find the specialty coffee overpriced and the service lacking, while others appreciate the competitive prices, excellent coffee, and welcoming staff. The ambience is cozy, albeit dark, with limited seating indoors. Although some visitors have encountered rude service, others praise the happy team for their quick service and cheerful attitude. The menu offers delicious sandwiches, scones, and baked goods, with the egg bistros being a standout. Best coffee in Muskoka! I love supporting local businesses, and this one is truly deserving. They make a great cup of coffee.... and hot chocolate for the perfect winter pick me up! I really like their fresh baked goods, too the scones are my personal fave. If you’re lucky, you can score a bag of day olds. I love that they feature local artists’ work. But seriously, how can you not love a company named after a dog ; View all feedback.
What Amiya Adams dislikes about Olivers Coffee:
The quality and size of the speciality coffee we had was not worth the price paid. They did not have lactose free milk. The place is dark and not very inviting, with very little room to sit indoors. View all feedback.
I loved starting my day with a delicious cup of butter pecan coffee and enjoying the strong wifi signal at this restaurant.

The coffee is excellent and the wait times are usually short because this is a true coffee shop, not one trying to offer a vast menu like Tim Hortons and call itself a restaurant.
Stopped by for breakfast on our way to Bala Cove Marina. The best Apple fritters around. Highly recommend it. I look forward to going back.
The coffee at this restaurant is consistently great. The pastries are also fabulous, with the best scone I've ever had. It's not a dry British version; instead, it's moist with chocolate chips. The apple fritter is also perfect.
