'MAN ', Talk about a Pastrami on another level!!! The pastrami meat is so hearty, tender,and seasoned so great!!! I 'm different, where I love cheese and a touch of mayo and mustard, that is 'the best,best, BEST '!!! Coupled with fresh, hot fries and a cold fountain Pepsi, my lunch was a 10+!!!! Please let me note, the restaurant staff is so,so friendly, mannerly, and just so kind in delivering a great experience every time. My office is a block away, so it is a 'must ', I hit Zorba 's once to twice a week!!!.
I've been going to this place for about 40 years and it NEVER disappoints! Generous and very delicious portions.
A friend I went through the drive thru and unfortunately, our order turned into in to only my order because they forgot my friend 's order. Quickly, the staff jumped on fixing this and they had his order out promptly, as well as gave him a Food Boost by upgrading his meal to a large AND they gave us a large order of onion rings instead of the small! I was kinda jealous that his order was missed not mine! Plus, the food was delicious. The BLT with Avocado is what I had to eat, and I don 't know what my buddy ordered because I was too busy devouring my sandwich. I definitely would recommend!
Zorba's is the best greasy spoon I've eaten at in a very long time
Pastrami is like their French fries, too hot to eat on the drive home.
It's a staple of Bakersfield especially if you are attending the NOR Christmas parade
