Wienerschnitzel - Bakersfield

I made a quick stop while waiting to pick up my medication. I was really craving a chili cheese dog and a root beer float.

I really enjoyed the chocolate-dipped ice cream! I've been coming to this specific location since I was a child. The food is usually quite consistent and is served quickly. In the past year, I think I've only had Wienerschnitzel twice, and the last time I visited, it seemed like the chili recipe had changed a bit. It doesn’t taste quite as good as I remember, but maybe I'm just getting older. This location does have a restroom and outdoor seating, in case you're interested, but just a heads-up: there’s no indoor seating here.

Make sure to order the chili cheese fries every time! I also tried the orange cream dipped cone, which was quite tasty. It reminded me of the orange cakes from Hostess. As always, the food was great, and I really love the unique triangular building!
