Not a welcoming experience, Firstly, I was really hungry so I called before and placed the order and when I reached the restaurant they just handed me food but I wanted to have it in the restaurant. The person standing at the counter went inside to check if I could have my dinner in restaurant and then came and told me to grab a seat and have it in the same to-go box as the boxes are already wasted. I enjoyed a very good dinner here, and I'm glad that it's turning out that there is no shortage of tasty Indian food in Bakersfield.
I have always loved this restaraunt and the shrimp malai dish but they have changed their thin white "basmati" rice to a new brand.
Overall great, with some minor concerns. The Great: Food was excellent.

We had a wonderful dinner! we ordered chicken jalfrezi, aloo benjan, pratha, garlic naan, basmati reis and rita. everything was delicious. especially I liked the aloo benjan (eggplant and kartoffel), while my man was thrilled with the huh. the rita was tenderly spiced with cumin and cilantro, a beautiful, cool plate. Everything was good. we wish that we have lived in the opposite, so that we can return regularly, but we will come through now and then here, so it will come back in a definite way.
