Tahoe Joe's Famous Steakhouse Bakersfield

We enjoyed the steak salad, which featured 6 ounces of perfectly cooked steak—definitely a generous portion for dinner! The atmosphere was fantastic as well; even the bathroom had a fly rod and snowshoes on display!

The hostess could have been more attentive to our seating preference. I had requested a window seat on the phone, and while he said he would jot it down, it seemed like either he didn't or she didn't check the note. After asking her for a window seat again, I finally got one. On a positive note, the food was great!

My family of five chose to celebrate my mom's birthday by dining out on Friday, December 29th. We made a reservation online just half an hour before arriving at the restaurant and were seated within five minutes. The place had a cozy and festive atmosphere. Our server was incredible! Unfortunately, we didn’t catch her name, but she was friendly, attentive, and prompt. The food was fantastic! It was truly a wonderful dining experience.

The food was pretty good the service was pretty bad! We were put in a booth in the northeast corner of the restaurant should of asked for a bigger booth not busy we are all very tall and wasn’t much leg room. Our waitress took our order then left saying she would bring us some rolls and she didn’t come back until she brought our appetizer, before we could ask for utensils she was gone, did not come back until she brought our entree.

I have always enjoyed this restaurant and remains one of our favorite places to visit.
