Unforgettable Bento Box! Last spring, I was in Bakersfield for work and stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch. Now, almost a year later, it’s still on my mind, and I can't wait to have another one! It’s rare to find a meal that’s so memorable. While I don’t remember the exact bento box I ordered, everything about it was fantastic—the main dish, the salad, and the tempura vegetables were all delicious! I will definitely be returning to this place every time I'm in Bakersfield.

Why would anyone order a salad at a sushi bar?! I'm currently enjoying the halibut that is right in front of me! They always have great uni here.
Excellent Sushi Chef. Bento Express is a great sushi spot with a first-rate young chef who really knows how to cut fish. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual.<br/ <br/ Favorite dishes are the sashimi salad and the baked mussels.
