Izumo Sushi - Bakersfield

My family has been ordering sushi from here for a long time now, and each experience has been a great one. From dining in on a birthday and getting a little light show and music from the staff, to ordering takeout for a birthday and being gifted a complimentary set of cute chopsticks. The staff is skilled, kind, and attentive.

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I just discovered this place by random chance today and it was so lovely I needed to review. The food is quite literally some of the best I've had. I didn't think I liked sushi or fish, but I had just never had it done so well. It was spectacular, and no matter what you order you will leave happy. The atmosphere was just perfect, the music was calming, everything was very clean. Also, the service was exceptionally good. I really can't say enough good things about this place. I can't wait to bring my friends : !

My favorite sushi place. Service is awesome and the food is always fresh and delicious. The prices are great too.

Clean and modest, the server is very kind, and the prices for portions are great. $5 cash California Roll is great for me when I don't like to spend too much ordering out. Being able to see the kitchen a bit too is also very nice. It is a smaller business, so cash is preferred over card to avoid hefty transaction fees. I'm always happy to come back here :
