great food but like most all other restaurants in town they're now serving smaller portions but still higher price. atmosphere is perfect beer is ice cold servers were excellent, just lost a star due to reduction in size and cost is raised. View all feedback.

This was our first visit to El Capitan, although we have frequented the establishment many times in the past. The atmosphere was calm on a Thursday evening, but we were pleased with the quality of the food and service.
The food is outstanding. I had the chili verde omelet, big chunks of meat. The service was fast and super friendly.
One of my favorite places in Bakersfield. Lots of people go every day just for the albundigas.
