Don Perico Restaurant - Bakersfield

Food was great, service is amazing. Love the menu selection, I've never ordered anything I didn't like. The San Antioni chimi was great, wish it had come with rice and beans! Cheese quesadilla was anything but average, so tasty. The salsa verde is 10/10. Our chicken tacos came out as beef tacos but they were so good, we didn't care. Patio is awesome and comfortable, but don't sit there if you mind cigarettes smoked at the perimeter of the patio. Still loved our experience. Our waiter, Heladio, gave 10/10 service. Definitely going back again soon. This location is also awesome for take-out. Everyone that works here is so kind and has a smile.

Food and service was excellent ! I also have to add that my fish ceviche toastada was super fresh and delicious. I wil def be coming for more .

First of all I liked this place for brunch on Sundays the prices went up ok that's fine but me and the fam were put in the corner when there were closer seats. Since we're in a corner we did not get refills on our drinks I had to walk up to them flag them down we needed napkins it took forever for someone to come so I went up to them again but seen napkins so grabbed some. So I got the bill I signed for a specific price which included all the taxes and fees tell me why it just cleared with my bank and it's a different price and higher. Why are they adding to my bill after I signed for the price already. Once you sign that paper with the amount it shows they have no right to change that price not cool I'm done with that place.

I always enjoy great Mexican food. The Chili Colorado is really delicious. The meat is really soft. The Chili sauce is perfect with spices and not too spicy, but flavorful. Rice and beans are also delicious. Rice has plenty of flavor. I definitely recommend this place for some family dinner. The service was amazing. Our waitress provided great service and was very attentive. Definitely recommend.

The one thing I can say is the water was amazing.. Sadly everything else about this establishment is simply okay at it's best. My favorite part about this place was reading all the other terrible reviews, at least they're consistent. The one thing I can't complain about and truly enjoyed was walking out with thought of never coming back. I give this place 2 thumbs down.
