Don Perico Mexican Restaurant

My boo had a taco salad she said it was fire, I had the spinat garnelen enchiladas just wanted to try something else and it was super bomb as we always enjoyed and eating was great thanks young

My nachos were good, but my cousin ordered chile rellano and it was not as good as it was expensive and the waitress was too stressed to smile. my niece is a vegan and she ordered a bean dip, but it came with chorizo throughout. I tried to check it to be meat in it, she asked the waitress if it could be exchanged (the regular she ordered) and she still had the full price chorizo bean dip on the bill. I know it was busy, but I feel like it's a good customer service to take off or charge for the one she wanted. the waitress did not apologize and when her bill came, they did not remove the court she had not ordered. we do not often come together so that it was a summer that our waitress did not care that we had to check on our table, I had to get up and go forward to ask the host to help.

Great food and a great value. my spicy enchiladas were delicious. great fast service.

I remember coming here as a little girl and loving the parrots hanging from the ceiling. It was our family favorite Mexican restaurant. I continued to come when I was dating in high school and first got married.But, unfortunately it has gone extremely downhill. I don't know where the pride of ownership has gone, but it's clear to me that quality isn't a priority with the owners of Don Perico.On our last visit the service was terrible. We waiting for what seemed like hours to get our food and I had to visit the front desk to ask for our check.Everyone's food at the table looked visibly old and greasy. The guac and pico de Gallo were discolored. The beef chimichanga looked like it was made with day old ground beef. Even the rice and refried beans looked old. My chicken fajitas were dry and unappealing. My husbands first margarita had a ton of salt resting at the bottom and the second one had a black thing floating in it.You won't have this experience at Loma Linda (cheaper), La Costa Mariscos, or Mexicali (similar price)I don't want to see them fail. But I wish these reviews would mean something to them. I really hope they reevaluate their service and quality and bring it back to the old days when they served fresh, delicious, quality Mexican food.Until that happens we won't be returning!

Love the service, absolutely love the food. Just amazing.
