One evening, my family and I felt completely disregarded, even though the tall blonde waitress clearly saw us approaching our table. We waited for 15 minutes without receiving menus or any service before we decided to leave. When I reached out to the owner on Facebook to discuss the issue, she opted to gossip about me rather than address the situation with her staff. There are much better dining choices in Baker, like Heisers for fantastic pizza and wraps, The Garage for a mouthwatering steak, and The Baker Club, known for its friendly staff and excellent pizza and drinks. I would recommend skipping this tavern altogether.

The owner appeared to be intoxicated at a table, visibly upset and crying in front of the staff. When not being yelled at, the staff seemed to avoid customer interaction, often hiding in the kitchen. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was reminiscent of a restroom at a gas station. We were left to seat ourselves and had to ask for menus and to place our drink orders. We initially chose this restaurant because of the owner's behavior, but sadly, our waitress never returned to take our food order.

However, the cook, who was at th... read more I arrived in town late at night for work and unexpectedly found this restaurant. Unfortunately, the kitchen was already closed. However, the cook, who was at the bar, graciously offered to whip up some food for us since he understood what it's like to be hungry with few options available. This kind gesture from a stranger was truly appreciated. We also had the opportunity to meet the rest of the staff, who were all equally wonderful, and we ended up returning several times during our stay. Plus, they serve the best chicken tenders!
