I absolutely love this place, whether I dine in or take it to go. The food is delicious and their bread is homemade, so yummmm.... The garlic fries are the perfect touch to a perfect sandwich. My favorite is the turkey pesto. The service is also excellent! View all feedback.
What Doreen M doesn't like about Ajs Corner Brick Grill:
Went tonight for dinner. Was not pleased. Ordered the Cajun chicken. Was so bland I couldn't eat it. I've had it before and I was perfect. Maybe a off night . My cocktail tho was awesome I'm still trying to decide if I like the owner or not. Some times she's great others kinda rude. The music was awful. Way to loud and I'm half deaf. Couldn't have a conversation. Would have had another drink but couldn't stand the gu... View all feedback.
When I say the BEST sandwich in town... it's the TRUTH. The All American Hero is the greatest effing sandwich I've ever had. My husband and I order here at least once a week. Use caution! These poor hardworking men and women are severely understaffed these days, so call ahead and make sure they're open!
One of the top 3 pizzas in the Northwest! Hard working kitchen and staff. Great place!!!
Live music!!! Welcome back to life! Great whiskey sour with fresh squeezed juices, we both had soup salad bread combos. They make all their own; facia bread was great! Salad was ice berg lettuce which I didn't know any restaurant still served and the soups were good but pretty watery for my taste.
During our family road trip to the Pacific Northwest, my family and I made a stop in Baker City and had dinner at AJs. This charming and friendly bar and restaurant was small but packed with delicious food. Our server was friendly and we had a pleasant chat about the recent Oregon heat wave. She checked on us just the right amount of times. We ordered a couple of burgers, a half Caesar salad, and mac and cheese. My husband's signature burger was a double patty with bacon and BBQ sauce, and it was delicious, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The beef they use at AJs is sourced from a local grass-fed beef producer, and the quality was evident. My oldest child's mushroom Swiss burger was just as good, with a generous 1/2 pound patty. My youngest ordered a Caesar salad, her new favorite dish that she wants to eat every time we go out. The dressing was well-balanced, and the lettuce was fresh and crisp. While I found the homemade croutons slightly over-toasted, my daughter enjoyed them. My mac and cheese was rich and cheesy, although I would have preferred it to be a bit hotter. Despite this, we all enjoyed our meals and shared bites with each other. The atmosphere of the restaurant was casual and relaxed, with charming exposed brick walls adding to the ambiance. After dinner, we took a leisurely stroll down Main Street and admired the bronze art statues. Overall, AJs is a great choice for a satisfying meal after a day of travel or outdoor activities. We highly recommend it!
