Little place on the main street in Baker City, OR. Great food. Friendly staff. Little bit of a longer wait for the food during lunch but well worth it. Great cookies too!!! View all feedback.
What Lori Winter doesn't like about Sweet Wife Baking:
Food took over 45 minutes to arrive and then it was very disappointing overall. Plus, we were NOT informed of a long wait until after placing our order. Yes, we were later offered a refund, but we were hoping for the best and not to drive somewhere else. The building was extremely hot inside. Maybe some sort of fan to move air would help customers. Oh man! Everything looks so delicious while on our loop of Hell Canyon hwy we decided to stop in the city of Baker for a second. We looked up somewhere to eat and decided on this bakery, man, we were so excited we chose this location. The service was amazing, and the atmosphere felt right for us. It is a Sunday and pretty busy, so we didn 't have any seats available yo sit and eat. We didn 't have a problem just sitting out on the city bench because it was close and felt like a part of the experience. Immediately, a server saw us and said, I 'll bust that table for you right now so you guys can sit. He just made the experience that much better. Thank you sir!!!
GLUTEN FREE LEMON BLUEBERRY SCONE WITH GLAZE. AMAZING. The service, the space, the atmosphere, all Amazing. Kudos to The Sweet Wife!
It was really busy on a Saturday morning but the service was great and the food wonderful. We had the pecan caramel roll and it was really tasty.
Sweet Wife is one of my favorite places in town. Great food, atmosphere, and service. I recommend the Ziggy Piggy and a screw driver with their fresh squeezed oranges.
I went early so there was a great selection. Excellent baked goods made with love. Great prices too
