Coffee is good but the service, is pretty bad. When we walked in there were to ladies working, one barely said hi when we walked in and greeted them and the other did not even bother to look. The one that barely said hi then told us we will have to wait until she finished what she was doing and walked to the side. Coffee was ok. Maybe a little weak. I should have got an extra shot.
We walked in thinking truffles. We walked out with truffles sure, but also with fresh quality coffee beans and that sublime hot chocolate mix. Great spot, the free hot chocolate tasters were unexpected and plentiful, the quiche buttery and flaky, and the upstairs has a great vibe. Another great boquete spot to visit.
We did the chocolate making class and it was awesome! They walk you through the whole process and show you all the machines. Then you make three full size chocolate bars for yourself to take home. You also get a free hot chocolate or coffee. The hot chocolate was very good. Highly recommend. I also got a “hot pocket” which I don’t recommend.
You Are Going To Love This! The Perfect Pair The Perfect Pair is the perfect name for Boquete 's first coffee house cum chocolatier. Located on Avenida Central (where Fusion 's Restaurant was) the decor and ambiance remind you of an upscale coffee house in any major, international city . . . soft, comfortable chairs for chatting and sipping; subdued lighting, polished wood and a Panamanian mural dating back to the 1850 's (which is a national treasure). OK, that 's the ambiance. Now for the good stuff. All the coffee is grown by the owners in Boquete 's highlands. It is specialty coffee and of the highest quality. Whatever type coffee you wish, the Perfect Pair has all of the machines to make it from espresso to French Press to Cappuccino and more. It can be enjoyed at the specially designed, polished wood coffee bar or in any of the seating arrangements. Then there is the chocolate. The owners also own their own chocolate ' farm ' in Belize. It is all organic and the samples I had were not only delicious but had an intense flavor. The variety is broad from chocolate, peanut butter truffles, to chocolate pralines to raspberry chocolate and more. What a delightful addition to Boquete! Somewhere to pause, enjoy Boquete 's coffee and savor some absolutely delicious chocolate as well all in an upscale environment. Go once and you will be hooked as I am.
Went here for the first time yesterday and it’s an excellent addition to Boquete’s coffee shop scene! Highly recommended!
