The o... read more Easy Eats used to be one of the better breakfast / lunch spots in Bairnsdale with a good array of good fresh foods and great serviceSadly it no longer is. The offerings in the display case look tired and past their best, very little is cooked to order most food seems to be made earlier and reheated in the microwave.last time we ate here the choice was limited so we ended up with 2 ham and cheese croissants and a couple of coffees. The croissants were burnt on the outside and still cold in the middle! They didn't even manage to melt the cheese.Coffee was equally poor - scalded milk, bitter beans and dirty cups. They were not very busy and the simple order took over 30 minutes.A fail on all levels.Service was poor - the heavily tattooed waitress who served us was abrupt, rude and abrasive.My wife and I regularly eat out, this one is certainly off our list of places now!

So I went else... read more The first time I stuck my head in to see about having lunch, the people serving behind the confer couldn't give a toss and completely ignored me. So I went elsewhere. Second time I went for lunch with 2 colleagues. We all ordered baked potatoes. I expected each dish to be just one potato each but not so. There were at least three halves of a potato on my plate. Loads of coleslaw, butter and huge dollop of sour cream. The coleslaw was a bit ordinary and I noticed my colleagues left most of theirs. On the whole it was ok and it was nice to see something like baked potato on a menu, so hats off to Easy Eats for trying something different but I'm not sure about the customer service here. Definitely wouldn't hurt to smile a but more and to be just a bit more welcoming. It's in a great spot and it's quite upbeat. It should be rated a lot better but it won't unless the service attitude changes.

It's the top café in Bairnsdale, and you can dine in as well. Awesome people and excellent service.
