The wings were perfectly cooked, boasting a crisp texture. The flavor leaned towards being a bit salty and spicy, though I believe it could use a touch more sweetness and less salt. I’d prefer a balance that avoids the overly sweet and syrupy taste that many Chinese restaurants tend to offer. That said, the service was excellent—friendly and fast. **Update: Thursday, July 4** After dining at Zaxby's today, I have to admit, my enthusiasm has waned. Since my last review, the quality has deteriorated significantly. The fries were undercooked and lacked seasoning, giving the impression they had come straight from the freezer. The chicken wasn’t much better either. In the past, Zaxby's staff would thoroughly coat and season the chicken, cooking it to a perfect deep brown. It seems those days are long gone. The actual color of the food looked paler than it appears in the photos, and the fries were almost anemic in color. It’s disappointing, and I'm beginning to feel like I need to give up on this place. Here’s hoping for an improvement! **Update: Friday, September 22, 2017** I’m not sure what’s happening with this restaurant. In my last review, I found the food, including the fries, to be excellent. However, there seems to be a consistent issue with the fries here; they just can’t seem to get it right, nor do they appear to care when they don’t. While all the chicken products are cooked well, I wish they would focus on properly seasoning and cooking the fries as well. It truly matters! On a positive note, the food is always fresh and well-prepared, and they do make an effort to ensure that your order is accurate and that you leave satisfied!

The front of the restaurant was ignored and looked dirty and unkemp... read more It's been a while since my last visit, and unfortunately, it seems that nothing has changed. The front of the restaurant was ignored and looked dirty and unkempt. The ice machine, which has been out of order for three years, is still not functioning. The floor mats were rolled up and piled on the tray counter above a garbage bin, and there was trash on both the counter and the floor, just like during my last visit. Additionally, none of the female staff members were wearing hairnets, hats, or any kind of hair restraint. When my order was ready, it sat on the counter while two employees were engaged in a discussion, and they only packed my order one item at a time amidst their chatter. The tables weren’t cleaned either. It may be a while before I return. I prefer a clean, inviting restaurant that can fix its equipment in less than three years.
