Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by Steve, the owner, who promised us a fantastic meal. He and his staff truly delivered. The Chowders were outstanding and the roasted Clams were both satisfying and plentiful. The real surprise of the meal was the coleslaw - it was amazing! Incredible Shrimp creole on the back roads of Maine. The chef knows what he’s doing! Every bite was perfect. It’s a very unassuming place but that’s just my kind. They have classic burgers, and simpler faire as well. I strongly recommend stopping in.

The lack of consistency is beyond frustrating. Especially, when food costs are at their highest and eating out is an investment. There are plenty of options on the menu, which will satisfy. For a foodie, don 't get your hopes up and be disappointed. Instead, allow yourself to be pleasantly surprised, on that off chance. It does happen, just not always.

The menu at this unassuming place is surprisingly vast. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered – it was all delicious!
