Good breakfast. Eggs over easy had firm whites and runny yolks like they should. They let me substitute bacon and sausage for x2 bacon. Bacon was done Goldilocks right, not to much and not to little. Slightly crispy edges with fat cooked through. If only they were open for breakfast a bit earlier I would have gone during week not just weekend. View all feedback.
What Hillary Freake doesn't like about Robin's Donuts:
Couldn't get a bagel before noon??? That makes zero sense.. bagels are a breakfast item why wouldn't you be able to order bagels during breakfast time? We just drove away and didn't bother ordering anything, sandwiches for breakfast was the whole reason we went and we couldn't order them. View all feedback.
The atmosphere is serene, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. It's a perfect place to savor a delicious cup of coffee.
I really enjoy dining at Robin's, and since I'm not from the area, I was excited to discover a location near our summer home. Today, I stopped by to grab a tea and was surprised to find no one in line. However, after waiting for 10 minutes without being served, I decided to leave. I then went through the drive-thru, where I was greeted by a friendly girl at the window. I explained that I had to leave the store and come through the drive-thru instead. While she apologized, another staff member rudely interrupted, claiming I couldn’t have waited that long and that they were overwhelmed with drive-thru orders. During my time inside, only two cars had gone through. He also mentioned that there were only two of them working, even though I counted four behind the counter. While I understand their feeling of being busy, it would be helpful for them to receive some training in effective communication and customer service.
I really enjoyed the breakfast. The eggs, cooked over easy, had firm whites and perfectly runny yolks, just as they should be. I appreciated the option to substitute double bacon for both bacon and sausage. The bacon was cooked to perfection—not too crispy and not underdone, with slightly crispy edges and well-rendered fat. If only they opened for breakfast a bit earlier, I would love to visit during the week instead of just on weekends.
I also used to get toast there when I was particularly hungry, but my last visit was a disaster. I had to practically shout at the drive-thru just to place my order, and even then, I ended up having to argue that I only wanted one order of toast, not two. When I finally got it, it was burnt, and it took an agonizing 15 minutes to prepare. Today, craving something sweet, I left work to pick up a double chocolate chip muffin. However, when I unwrapped it, it turned out to be just a plain muffin. I went back to address the issue, and while they did give me the double chocolate muffin, it still had no chocolate chips in it. These repeated mistakes are concerning, and it seems they have no intention of fixing them. I'm not sure why I keep giving them chances, but today might just be my breaking point. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
I ordered a BLT, and it was quite disappointing. It had only half a slice of bacon, a small piece of tomato, and just a little bit of lettuce. I paid $5.00 for it, but it hardly felt like a sandwich. They also didn't inquire if I wanted to make it a meal.
