What Jayantika Soni doesn't like about The Rainbow Room:
Food is lack lustre, ambience is great, service is good too. Pizza avoid at all costs, made on a weird Base and it seems like was topped up with cheese slices. Soup weren't tasty either; hot and sour was like a concoction.Indian food is decent but again not the best. Only saving grace was Bhareli Aloo It's best if your money and time is spent elsewhere. I visited this place for dinner with friends. As outsiders, it took about 20 minutes for confirmation. The ambience was lovely, with romantic lighting and a pool, beautifully decorated, well-maintained, and clean. We ordered several dishes including Chilli Prawns, Non-veg barbecue platter, Chicken Manchow soup, Chicken coq au vin, Chicken steak, Chicken Dum Biryani, and Mutton Dum Biryani. Although all were served at the right temperature, the presentation was average. Unfortunately, Chilli Prawn, Coq au vin, and the platter tasted very poor. Moreover, there was confusion between the chicken steak and coq au vin orders. Despite inquiring, the server failed to clarify beforehand, causing frustration. The service was extremely disappointing, lacking attention to customers and proper order management. This significantly impacted our experience negatively. Stayed at the resort. Had all 3 meals in Rainbow room. Superb food. Lovely pool overlooking location. Attentive staff. Enjoyed the fact that part of the buffet was authentic coorgi cuisine. Enjoyed the pandi curry. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
