Chocolate de Batirol is inside Camp John Hay. We were able to get in at John Hay easily because we had the health certificate from the triage. Batirol has long lines early in the morning! They’re good for a heavy breakfast but since we realize there will be a lot of people, we decided to eat at our place and decided to take out our chocolate drinks. Very minimal space for parking, we parked more than 300 m away from... View all feedback.
What Paul Edward C doesn't like about Choco-late De Batirol:
I’m not a fan of their hot chocolate. I prefer the hot chocolate of cafe by the ruins when you are in baguio. Though their coffee is good. Place was under renovation when we went their. Customer service and staff are friendly, kudos to all of them. View all feedback.
Great food, quick service despite the holiday rush, rejuvenating atmosphere. You have to order the chocolate ASAP since they make it to order and can take a bit long, especially with large orders. We had 7, and they took over 20 minutes.
I totally enjoyed my first visit in this place more than five years ago. I was expecting the same experience I had then on my last visit just last week. Of course, you have to wait. The staff mentioned right away that there might be inconveniences because parts of the area were being renovated, and that all food items will be served in take-out containers, even though you’re dining in. It was a rainy afternoon so I thought it’s a good time for hot chocolate. It was okay, but I was missing the same vibes I’ve had before. We strolled in the nearby woods after.

Recommendable Great ambiance. Accommodating crew. You wouldn't notice time while dining within the plants and the tree walls. Relaxing vibe Parking is a bit tight because they preserved the trees and you would have to work your way around it. It is within our favorite place in Baguio, Camp John Hay. Price: it is okay given that it is in a very exclusive and wonderful place but the taste of the food is just Ok, nothing really special. Would I recommend it? YES Would we come back? Yes
A must visit for a comforting mug of hot chocolate! We Love the instagrammable ambiance. The garden setting is very relaxing. Staff are wonderful, friendly and attentive. We love the alfresco set up catching up with friends with a lot of laughter
