Loud Italian music, a slightly drunk chef, and the feeling you're being scammed. It's Fawlty Towers in Italian! It's a hilarious experience but do negotiate the price! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.
What Chris doesn't like about Pausa.eat:

As soon as you sit down, the boss comes and tells you that he has good fish and you are immediately given a menu for two people (whether you ordered or not) but you don't have to take it. This scam is not ok. We ate it because we wanted to eat fish anyway. It was very tasty and costs €50 for two people. We also had a bottle of water and a grilled fish with potatoes. In the end it cost us €70, this number was simply written on a piece of paper. You can't pay with a card because your internet probably doesn't work. ATM is 50m away. Conclusion: The other reviews are all right! You get a menu that you don't order, but it's delicious (if you like fish)
Warm, hospitable, genuine...
It was very good and the Prosecco was in large quantities
Like others, we were forced to take the fish menu, which we didn't want at all. We don't even like fish! As soon as the dishes started coming out, I refused and we left, paying only for the water we had drunk. Don't be afraid to say no!
Do not enter this place! Embarrassing experience to be reported to the police.
