Il Nido Dell'acquila Di Landi Marcella

After a walk up the cannons, this cafe/restaurant is just what you need! They serve cold beer, and soft drinks, and offer a small yet perfectly adequate menu we had the tomato bruschetta, the three cheese and fried dough and the Parma ham and fried dough. The fried dough are like little parcels of puffed up dough, which you can then stuff with the cheese/meat. I haven't seen these anywhere else so nice to try something different, very reasonable too, about 6 euros per dish. Friendly service, and they didn't mind is taking cover when the heavens opened!

This is a lovely restaurant, catering mainly for those visiting the Orrido di Botri nature reserve. The food is excellent almost all home cooked; served on the terrace overlooking the Orrido; and fantastic value for money. We were charged 20 euros a head for 3 delicious courses, half a litre of local wine, and 3 litres of sparkling water.

I would recommend all to try food is so good and all homemade. We stopped to have a good meal in between our quad biking adventure. Atmosphere was lovely. Best meal of the whole trip!!

A great , basic, casual place for a drink, a snack, or a full meal. It is a long winding road to get there, but if you are planing to visit the Orrido di Botri nature reserve it is super-convenient. Indoor and outdoor seating

Good selection of local dishes which was tasty and well presented, the staff are very friendly and the scenery is beautiful. It was lovely to spend our afternoon there.
