Of the three or four hotels around Bageshwar, this is the best. Doesn't mean the hotel is great, but compared to the other places, it's not bad. The restaurant serves some good food - a little expensive but still affordable. Staff were very friendly. Very close to the Jeep/Taxi stand on Kapkot Road.

The Restaurant has nice ambiance just by the side of River Saryu and food is also good because chef takes good care of your order and prepare very homely food.

I have stopped here three years in a row, and found the food ready whatever time I might happen to arrive. The place is no frills, but the fact that it is by the river, makes it a pleasant spot to stop in ,en route. The staff is friendly, service may be uneven, but the cook knows his job and the food is usually excellent. Recommend the dals and the butter chicken. Though the paneer dishes are pretty good too. By ambience and location standards, somewhat overpriced, but that has to be endured. Also available, a wide variety of branded ice creams to add a sweet end to a good meal!

The restaurant located on the ground floor of the eponymous hotel is ideal for travellers looking for a break and a good hot meal. Though we arrived a little after lunch hours and the restaurant was running short on manpower, they did serve up an excellent meal in a short time. As most of the items we requested off the menu were not available due to the aforesaid problems, we requested the waiter to bring us whatever was available. The food was absolutely excellent and fresh. The restaurant has outdoor seating with a view of the river and the hills and is ideal for a quick stop on a long journey.To top it all, it was extremely reasonable. A meal for two cost a total of INR 300.
