This is veg/non veg restaurant. Very local looking when you enter, but in the back is a garden setting. Very grubby looking place, but the very poor lighting offsets that. There is an English menu with a lot of choices. Servers are a bunch of teenage boys who sit around and ignore customers until summoned. After a while day of hardcore trekking and kms of walking in the hot sun. This.place seemed like a heaven to me. It was suggested by my Hotel front desk. Honestly compared to the restaurants surrounded wasn't expecting that kind of an ambience. Open garden nice lighting, service was good, filled with families and on top of all the food was excellent. Chicken Handi with rotis is the best I had in my entire trip. Try it you will love it. Highly recommend it if your looking for a nice restaurant with good food and ambience.
Was good value for money. We had two veg curry, which were both good and spicey. We sat outside in the garden

The menu doesn't have many options. But the food offered here is cheap and delicious. My sister loved the sambhar of Dosa they made. The owner allowed us to keep our luggage at his restaurant as we had to visit Badami.

Inexpensive. If you want cleaner, more comfortable, attentinve service and tasty food, there is a good veg restaurant just in front of the Hotel Rajsangam which is just 20 m to the N of the Golden Caves.(unfortunately it is not on TA)
