It t... read more If you don't want a veg, it's just a place in town. We ate in the garden and have to watch the monkeys. The service was sufficient and the food was decent. It took a while to prepare the chicken Tandoori and roasted rice, but... it was delicious and made with little spice, as we cannot tolerate it.

My first impression was that the place did not seem very clean, unlike most other local restaurants in Badami. One of the waiters tried to seat me outside, but I insisted on sitting inside to avoid mosquitoes. It took a minute of discussion to clarify this simple request. I ordered Onion Pakora as an appetizer and Paneer rice for my main course, not realizing that the portion sizes were very large. The Pakoras were not the round ball shapes I expected, but instead were slices of onion dipped in batter and fried. They tasted good, but I wondered how long they had been cooked since they were only warm. The Paneer rice was too spicy for me to finish, and after returning to my hotel, I experienced some digestive issues. While the portions were generous and the price was reasonable, I would not choose to eat at this restaurant again.

They are also one of the few restaurants which serve alcoholic beverages in the area. We had been here for dinner and had good non veg food.

I was seated in the garden section of the rest... read more After having four vegetarian meals in a row, I was craving some meat and stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. I was seated in the garden section of the restaurant, where the chairs were basic but there was a good selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes available on an English menu. I was extremely hungry, so I decided to order a mutton biryani and aloo gobi. The biryani was delicious and the aloo gobi, although they claimed it was only mildly spicy, made me sweat a little. Both dishes were very tasty and only cost 250 rupees, including a soda water. If I ever find myself back in Badami, this restaurant would be my first choice to dine at.

Ordered for masala kulcha, kohlapuri chicken, dry chicken and Jeera rice. All dishes were very tasty with the right amount of spices. The best dish was jeera rice...you can...eat it without any gravies. Simply delicious food. Definitely recommend.
