It is the only restaurant in all of Badajoz where we ordered fish, and without a doubt the sea bass was a success like everything else. We made a reservation at the Marchivirito restaurant in Badajoz in advance, since we were going with a two-year-old little girl and we wanted to save time. We c... read more We made a reservation at the Marchivirito restaurant in Badajoz in advance, since we were going with a two-year-old little girl and we wanted to save time. We called the day before to reserve some rice and make sure it was ready at a specific time, something the Metre confirmed over the phone with no problem. Our surprise upon arrival was that the Metre that served us had no knowledge of this and suggested we order the rice right there, assuring that it would be ready in 15 minutes. After speaking with the main Metre, he confirmed our reservation and promised that the food would arrive soon. However, we waited 45 minutes and the rice still didn 't appear. I highlight the pleasant treatment of the waiters, especially Nelson, which was the best part of our experience. If we decided to return, it would be just for him. However, the attitude of the Metres was disappointing: two of them seemed inexperienced and gave a look at me and don 't touch me impression, more concerned with appearance than with providing good service. Although the restaurant appears high standing , the lack of professionalism and management error made our experience unpleasant. I do not recommend this place if you are looking for a close treatment or a smooth experience, especially if you have specific needs like ours. Kid-friendliness: They don 't adapt at all. A lot of façade but in reality it is not like that.
