Several years ago it wasnt only a place with the best view and atmosphere at the lake. It had great service and good food as well. But at our last visit it turned out, that the best times are gone. We all had great memories from Strandcafe from a few years back. But it has changed, staff was not very friendly and we did not felt very welcome. Plus one of our ordered dishes arrived very late and we had to return it, because it was not edible. Disappointing visit

Food and decor not so great. there are a lot cuter places on the east side of the lake to eat and a lot nicer gardens. I like FahrKroog on the North end of the lake. Very cute and historical.
