What User doesn't like about Hotel-Gasthof Adler:
The recent refurbishment has removed a lot of the charm that the Adler used to have. There's certainly a lot of wood now, way too much, which makes it kitsch and a little sterile at the same time. We went inside for drinks. It took a while for to be served at the bar (there werent a lot of other customers there). My wife had a hot chocolate and cognac. We wandered in to this restaurant on a balmy Friday evening (it was busy). Waited 10 mins for a table outside and were very pleased we did so.Steak and fish dishes were excellent; Chateau Briand was superb. Service efficient and swift - ambiance was just right on a "beer fest" evening in town.No need for a starter but I suspect that they would be equally good.
