I was presented an Eng... read more For one of the few times in the years I have been on Yelp, my fellow Yelpers steered me wrong. I came here with really high expectations. I was presented an English menu. For the reviewer who mentioned English menus, I received one from the one waiter, as you did. A few minutes later, after I was seen taking a picture of the English menu, a different waiter gave me a menu in German, which I don 't speak, with higher prices. Look at the Saganaki prices, as proof. I 've lived in Germany a while and I knew this was a hustle. I asked again, after a few minutes for the English menu and was told, This is Germany, use the German one. I asked him to show me his English menu again. I was then told the English menu was 5 years old and prices changed. So, my fellow yelper four months ago used an English menu? There was no other English menu! Food: Saganaki with shrimp. See picture. This dish was served so hot that the cheese dissolved before it was served and it was cheese sauce. Tastes like spicy cheese it from the can. 4 small shrimp. No saganaki. So much for authentic Greek. Salad: German farmers salad. I ate so many, I knew. No olives in salad. No feta. Tasteless. Not greek and I know greek food. Gyro meat: Not lamb. Crisped, burnt dry donner as if from the street. But not even street quality. Lamb? NO WAY! Tastes like the toss away from some dinner kebab shop that even drunks would reject. Lamb chop: Crunchy, dry, well done. Please see the picture with the gristle. Would you eat that? Suvalaki: OMG. Tastes like it was cooked in a kids my little oven. Dry, baked, tasteless. Come on! Tzaki sauce: Tastes like the mayo based special sauce on a big mac. No way any of this is homemade. No one asked at any time if I enjoyed my dinner or would like another drink. I would have gladly offered my observations. The bill reflected the higher prices, of course. As for the portions, I went to another restaurant after to fill my appetite. Only remotely redeeming quality is that I heard what sounded like a Frank Sinatra song among the music. This place is Greek but plays Turkish music? Forgetaboutit! : No after dinner drink offered at all. Yelpers, don 't be mislead. When I asked about it, the waiter shrugged his shoulders and said he didn 't speak English! I believe this is a substandard kebab place from the street without even that quality food. Stay away! And, if you are a fellow American, run away!

They got menus in english as well so you could order easily. This is my seventh time here and i have yet to taste anything that doesn't taste good. The staff is friendly as well and very welcoming. The place has very good looking ambient lighted interior that makes you feel that you are in Greece. One set back is that sometimes when they are busy, no one will come to get your order for about ten minutes. Other than that, you need to eat here at least once!

We sat inside and the ambience is great. Cozy, Comfortable environment. The food is also great loved the gyro oven baked with sauce and cheese. They have a good selection of drinks as well. The service was not the fastest but it was OK. The place is pretty busy.

All the classic dishes that you expect from a Greek place are on the menu. Appetizers are large enough to share and the grilled meat or seafood platters are also huge. Weekday evening dining is quiet and cozy in contrast to the party atmosphere on the weekends. Prices are higher than at a German place but average for a Greek place. If you want quiet dining, don't go on a Saturday night because the ouzo and the imiglikos will be flowing and folks will be having a great time!

Womo daheim hexenschuss an bord therapeutic thermenvist visit and after that: calorie care requirements from the bauchraum. in the early evening it went directl... read more Womo daheim hexenschuss an bord therapeutic thermenvist visit and after that: calorie care requirements from the bauchraum. in the early evening it went directly after the visit of the thermen in the old town and there on the search for a local to dinner, as far as possible free. in the pastoriusstr. 1 right next to the St. Kilianskirche we sit on an old ensemble with a beer garden appealing from the outside. the direct access from the church terrace to the beer garden is unfortunately prevented by a metal separation fence. it's just about the gas house. via a barrier-free ramp, which they reach in the flur of the locals. narrow, very narrow, it goes and it is really dark! a door to the right leads to the actual dining room (we did not visit it; a narrow, ascended house with very steps leads into an interspace. smaller regale for cards, salt pepper, ketchup. then the door to the outside in the direction of the beer garden. left again an orientation where again a lot of parking is. right a very simple staircase high to the garden level. there space for approx. 30 people partially under sun umbrellas. but also the rest of the places were only a little sun spoiled in the evening. tables and seating made a clean impression. However, it was not possible to look at the radiator that should illuminate the gas house name sign with darkness. both the suspension construction and the radiator itself made the impression that not cleaned since the year of fastening. from the dachrinne over a longer stretch also very much material over the edge and could fall at any moment from there on the courts of the guests sitting under him and himself. also the wooden floor of the terrace did not make the well maintained impression on us. the gaststube and the toilets we did not visit! there are only 3 stars for cleanliness! yet we dared the self-test. in the beer garden was already in operation; some tables were covered and reserved. we chose a table without deko reservation note. the operation was carried out exclusively by men. the cards came immediately. after the Greek standard the card was again endlessly long. It is noteworthy, however, that all the dishes were offered here with tomatized rice instead of the usual garlic of potato. we chose: 1x nr. 79 delphi teller (souflakispies, gyros, tzaziki, reis beilagensalat at 12,50 €, 1x nr. 90 kreta wteller (2x leber, souflakispies, gyros, tzaziki, reis beilagensalat to 13,90 € 1x nr 189 yeasts dark of the house as usual for every 1x ouzo on the house. also the supplement salads were very fast at the table. the salate was rich in variety, exclusively from fresh and from attractive portion size. the dressing was Greek German and cost too mild for me. so probably standing everywhere in the stairs. the salt peppers scatter around! but why does no one come to the idea of distributing the dinger on the tables? both main dishes came together after a short preparation period. Here you had to look more closely: two different dishes that present themselves on the first look identical to the owalen white porcelain plates! a retum of the kitchen? No! if you look closer, you could then work out the differences. here is missing from my guess (some much fantasy of the kitchen team. both courts were enriched. rice, meat and salad tasted good; the flesh was tender, even the leber. but we did not find any tasteful highlights. when we asked about the bill, another little surprise: on ́s house there was still for everyone a kind of rose liqueur in champagne glass. a nice gesture, but tasted this creation was not at all for me; it has somehow reminded me of a bathroom supplement for the bathroom! at the performance price must be kept the following. prices can be considered appropriate for a spa town. but: in comparison to the last farm I rated for example, the price was much more appropriate because of the higher quality of the dishes offered than here. the service was friendly and also came to the table to ask if we were satisfied or wished. if the waiter pays, the waiter has charged up to €1 on his rifles very quickly; it was too late! revisitable (1* 5* : 2.75* visitors: table: 33 calculations:. : 4559 10.07.2017 fee: 32.60 €
