The Zwieselalm is my experience after one of the last real pastures. With a lot of handwork and attention to detail, the Alm impresses with its original ambience. When considering the circumstances, all this has to be delivered on foot, by Muli or by Helicopter, it is more than noteworthy that the operators, despite Corona hygiene conditions, implement these absolutely and continue to operate the Alm consistently. Furthermore, Zwieselalm scores with its regional cuisine, with all cooked dishes. Whether simple sausage to the Kaiserschmarrn everything is a pleasure and more price-wise than in order in consideration of the mentioned supplier circumstances, the staff is also extremely friendly and the host likes to make a chat. All in all, a visit to the hike worth no matter whether big tour or a smaller one to the evening.

A short evening tour or an extensive weekend hike... for the Zwieselalm everything no problem. I'm lucky not to live far away, so I've been on the Zwieselalm for a long time. If you have to go faster, then I drive to the Jochbergparkplatz and hike about 1 hour (regular hike) to the Alm. On weekends I like to go to the Listseeparkplatz and go up for 2 3 hours. At the top of the Alm you will always receive friendly, the view is grandiose and with the goats it is really Alm Feeling pur with 10 EUR in the pants pocket you are always well equipped. Also at Corona times I like to go to the Alm, the rules are adhered to, I feel safe.

From the Jochberg/ Weissbach a.d. Alpenstrasse it went up to the Zwieselalm approx. 1400 m, which can be achieved relatively effortlessly in 1.5 2 hours. With magnificent views you can enjoy the hospitality of the host family and their helpers. The prices of beverages and foods are in view of the difficult circumstances of delivery, by helicopters, Mulis and men or Women's power is more than appropriate. I think it is particularly worth mentioning that the implementation of the required Covid 19 measures separation entrance/output; References to masking, data recording, etc. the operators are also very interested in fulfilling the required hygiene regulations disinfection. Here, dishes are prepared by hand Kaiserschmarrn/no frozen food served with applesa, unfortunately not made for 10.20€, beer 4.20€ ; Radler 4,20€ Ski water 3,00€, all to acceptable. I found it particularly nice that in the afternoon the host also found some time to talk to me and I would like to know more about the delivery of the mountain huts, some of them by aggregation, water supply by a source, and to fight them with water scarcity in snowy winters or dry summers. In view of all these circumstances, it is all the more remarkable what is done on this pasture. If you want to get rid of the comforts in the valley for a few hours, get away from the stress and spend some rustic, cozy hours on the Zwieselalm is well-resolved.
