it was a sensational evening in the martin hermann in the “Le Pavillon”. the menu was a culinary journey at the highest level, which we have experienced in excellent star restaurants so far. just a dream! before this performance a high respect. We were at the kitchen party. At the entrance you had to pay the €59 for the food per person. Then it went up the stairs where waiters turned a badly ironed apron. It really bothered me that there were 3 male waiters who were on one. Then we went on the short course and passed on our name, and then we expected a little instruction or explanation. But unfortunately, nothing like that happened to us was offered a stand-up table to which we first agreed. Unfortunately, the standing tables were so in the room that everyone really walked by and felt super uneasy. After we then asked for a proper table, we have been reluctant to get one. The service was quite plump and hardly tried. Generally, we had to find that it was normal to forget the constant drinks. The service definitely didn't fit such a restaurant. In the kitchen we had to realize that she was not so hygienic unfortunately. As a guest, you were allowed to go to the kitchen and you didn't even try to clean the narrow windows. Generally a very old kitchen with narrow passages that is not designed for such a party. The concept was quite good. There were different dishes in a small version at many different stations, so you could taste incredibly much. The food itself was overwhelming and totally delicious. The plates mega nicely dressed (where I have never seen such a sloppy plate as the star chef) The chefs were also super friendly but quite short tied. The ambience is extremely old. The bright chairs are totally dirty and you have more the character of an old museum than that this restaurant could belong to a 5-star hotel.

Total enthusiasm! We stayed at Hotel Dollenberg for the first time and enjoyed the gourmet restaurant. The menu, service and ambience were great. It rarely happens that we feel so comfortable from the first moment.
