We booked this hotel spontaneously sylvester and were surprised. great small room with large bathroom, in the extra located house on the lake walk), very clean,... read more We booked this hotel spontaneously sylvester and were surprised. great small room with large bathroom, in the extra located house on the lake walk), very clean, terrace and small garden just next to the sauna house, which had to offer for such a hotel a lot. eating a la carte was very tasty, the service very nice and attentive. in the morning the breakfast buffet very plentiful and a lot of choice. in everything, a great hotel, very good value for money. always happy, thank you.

We had one of the apartments across the street f... read more My mother and I stayed here end of November for a girls weekend to relax and visit the Christmas market nearby. We had one of the apartments across the street from the hotel, top floor. The room was spacious with a nice interior and a jacuzzi (which was really nice! . The beds were fine, the room clean and everything we needed was there. The hotel uses down (Daune bedding and I am allergic, so we asked for synthetic bedding and this was no problem. There were also some defect lamps in the room, but the hotel sent someone to fix it as soon as we mentioned it. Something to take into account is that there is no elevator in the apartment building and the stairs are pretty steep, so if you are a wheelchair user or have trouble with stairs otherwise, you should book a room in the hotel itself which has an elevator. Then on to the compliment section: The staff at the hotel was absolutely amazing. They were all very friendly, requests and questions were no problem and the restaurant staff even remembered our choice of drinks from the day before. I felt really welcome as a guest. The breakfast buffet was extensive. The town is small but there are some nice stores, just as in Bad Iburg and Bad Rotherfelde, which are both nearby. The public transport is good. The salt walls are also worth exploring.
